By placing a booking at Peatlands, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, detailed here. Please ensure you read and fully understand these booking terms and conditions. If anything is unclear, please contact us so we can explain in further detail to avoid any misunderstandings.

Under NI tourism legislation, certified accommodation providers are required to keep a register, which records the personal details of guests (name, address, nationality and dates of stay) - see data privacy.

All cancellations must be notified via the booking platform or in writing to us and once received we will confirm the cancellation.

You will remain liable for the cost of booking when a cancellation is received, as detailed below:

Cancellation more than 30 days before the scheduled check-in date: 0% of the booking cost
Cancellation 15-30 days before the scheduled check-in date: 50% of the booking cost
Cancellation 0-14 days before the scheduled check-in date: 100% of the booking cost

We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

If your booking is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made to us for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

The maximum number of persons occupying the property is 2 and only those listed on the booking form can occupy the property. No extra overnight visitors please.

Check-in is from 15:30 on the day of arrival and check-out is by 11:00 on the day of departure.

Parking is limited to 1 vehicle. Please contact us in advance of check-in if you or your party require additional parking space and we will endeavour to accommodate up to 1 additional vehicle on site. Vehicles and possessions are left at guests’ own risk.

No pets, vaping or smoking anywhere inside the premises.

Guests are required to be considerate to neighbours in the area and other guests on site. Please respect the community and try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 10 pm and 8 am. We are entitled to ask guests to leave the property without any refund if, in our opinion, their behaviour is unacceptable. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone, who in our opinion is not suitable to or capable of taking charge of the property.

Data Privacy

When we collect your information, we take care to handle it securely and in accordance with the law. “We” here refers to Peatlands, 52 Ballybogy Road, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland. BT53 6NY. Under NI tourism legislation, and as a certified provider of guest accommodation, we are legally required to keep a register of guests’ information, including name, permanent address, nationality and dates of stay. In addition, we collect a means of contacting you (e-mail or phone) and use this to provide information about your stay. This information is provided by you as part of the booking process. Once we receive your information, we make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems, using encryption. We will hold your personal information for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is required by our statutory obligations, whichever is longer. We will not share your information with third parties. We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, post, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent.
